New and exciting, coming soon from seletti
We are always excited to see what Seletti has in store when they release a new range, and we haven't been disappointed. We have mentioned a few of these pieces on instagram here and here, but we wanted to give you a bit more information on the collections, to get the inspiration flowing.
Though these collections are not available in South Africa yet, as the exclusive importer of Seletti to the country, we will be the first to let you know, as soon as they hit our shores. Mouse Lamp
Design: Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba
The Mouse Lamp series is a new collaboration in lighting with Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba. It consists of 3 mice in different positions, faithfully reproduced in resin. Seletti continues its exploration of naturalistic style, a motif of never-ending inspiration for Marcantonio, who has already designed Monkey Lamp – now a bestseller in our Hyde Park showroom – and the Sending Animals furniture collection, for the brand.
Diesel Living with Seletti – WORK IS OVER
The line produced in collaboration with Diesel continues to have great success among the most innovative and experimental fashion brands. The two brands are presenting their newest collection, WORK IS OVER, inspired by the worlds of “works in progress” and “DIY,” an unexpected and ironic addition to home accessories. Helmet is a multi-functional dolomite container in the shape of a safety helmet, and Tool Box, a box with a cassette-shaped dolomite cover for tools. The functionality of the vase is paired with an unorthodox shape in Cone Vase, reproducing in detail the orange and white cones that delimit works in progress. Finally, the light frame series Frame It: a backlit panel to hold graphics and photos, which can be easily replaced with the latched openings on the four edges containing the LED lights.
Our current selection of the Diesel Machine and Cosmic diner collections are beautiful examples of the collaboration with Seletti, and Generation is always proud to be the Seletti representative in South Africa, bringing their iconic pieces to you, our valued client.
Alphafont
Design: BBMDS
After the great success of the Neon Art lettering, the bestseller from Seletti’s Lighting line, the brand is presenting Alphafont, the exclusive uppercase alphabet from design studio BBMDS. These bright letters are 30 cm in height and can be fixed to the walls and combined to create words and sentences: a new project with which Seletti carries forward its passion to immortalize and bring life to words, statements, and thoughts.
We have had such fun with our word creations using Neon Art (available in our Showroom right now) and can't wait to get our hands on the beautiful, concreted Alphafont
