Whats new at Maison&Objet?
The answer is : Everything. Held in Paris 20-24 January, M&O is the perfect opportunity for brands to launch new products and designs to the world. As the first major décor focused expo of the year, designers converge to exchange ideas and gain inspiration from both established and up and coming design houses.
We are always excited by what we see and this year is no exception. Seletti has launched several additions to existing ranges, keeping it interesting as only they can.
Two brand-new additions to the Seletti range, are Heritage furniture, and Sagra lighting.
Heritage furniture range, Seletti
Heritage, introduces a collection of turned wooden furniture, coupled with a muted jewel pallet of velvets, as well as a bolder patterned fabric for the outdoor pieces. Designed by Sebastian Tosi this collection adds to the growing selection of furniture pieces offered by Seletti.
Sagra lighting takes its name from the Italian festivals that happen throughout the country, highlighting local ingredients as they come into season. The town gets decorated with bunting, and lights are strung between buildings to allow festivities to continue into the night. The designer of the lights, Gio Tirotto combined the two elements to create a whimsical lighting solution, with each light accompanied by a little flag of colour.
Two collections that have had new pieces added to their already impressive offering are Hybrid, and Seletti Wears Toiletpaper:
As statement pieces, CtrlZak have released these bold new rugs, as the latest addition to their Hybrid collection(one of our favourites); bringing together classic Asian and European designs in each piece, movinginterest from the dining table to the floor.
Light shades were the eye catching addition to the Seletti Wears Toiletpaper range – with familiar imagery from Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari adding an iconic element to your lighting choice in 2017.
As mentioned in our Blog post in November, the Work is Over collection has also been released, with the three pieces in primary brights; Helmet and tool box, both containers that can be used in a myriad of ways and settings, along with the safety cone vase. This trio represent the latest edition to the Diesel collaboration with Seletti, to create interesting and quirky pieces for the home.
